For instance, these were some subjects that I received recently:

- GUARANTEED WEIGHT LOSS!
«I have hundreds more mails like those, some subjects say "loose
10 pound". How could you trust a weight loss company that does not
know the difference between loose and lose?
Can any of this be true? Could you lose the extra 10 pounds before your
brother's wedding? Can you really lose weight that fast?
Those e-mails tell that you can lose from one to two pounds daily, as
you can lose 10 pounds in 10 days. Can the one really lose 10 pound in
10 days?»
Most of you would like to know if that last question can lead to an affirmative
answer, right?
Okay, here is the realistic and truthful answer:
In order to lose weight, there are a few basic rules you must understand.
Knowing how your body works and what is happening on inside are very important,
if you really want to achieve long-lasting results.
To lose weight, you have to reduce or minimize one of three constituent
in your body:
- Fat.
- Water.
- Flesh and bone.
Let us start with FLESH AND BONE:
The average arm weight about ten pounds. In fact, you can lose
ten pounds in only one minute by amputating one of you arms with a sharp
knife. But that’s not a viable option, is it?
SOME MAY PREFEARE LOSING WATER:
The average person loses eighty ounce of water daily, meaning, by eating
dry food and not drinking the amount of water you regularly take in will
remove about five pints per day.
Of course, it is both difficult and foolish. Depriving your body of water
intake will force your body to replenish water it needs to keep your blood
from becoming so salty that it affects your brain and lowers the rate
of delivering nerve signals, which may in turn send you into a coma.
Maybe you could lose ten pounds in three days by cutting out liquids,
but you would be celebrating your ten-pound weight reduction in the intensive
care room of a hospital.
THEREFORE, BURNING FATS MAY BE THE SOLUTION:
Fats represent the greatest energy source for your body, including physical
and mental energy. Your brain consumes one quarter of your total energy
output. Calories are converted to glycogen with water (glycogen is a carbohydrate
that is stored in liver and muscles) to compensate for the storage capacity
of fats which is about fifty pounds. Due to the fact that fats are so
efficient, it is difficult to get rid of them; it takes a considerable
amount of energy to melt out one pound of fat. So, if you want to lose
a pound a day, you can do this: eat nothing and walk five miles.
In ten days you will lose the ten pounds in this manner. Your body will
rebel vigorously against what you are doing; it will cause you to feel
ravenously hungry and so weak that you will not be able to move your hands.
Make sense to you?
Of course it doesn’t. The smart way to reprogram your body systems is
to lose weight slowly.
Many programs contain pills you can take to speed your metabolism and
burn more calories, but the truth is, the most effective amphetamines
raise your metabolism by only 20%. And remember, those pills will produce
harmful effects. You could escalate your metabolism by merely walking
home from work at the end of your day.
THERE IS A WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT SWIFTLY AND SAFELY. SUCK IN YOUR GUT
