If you took a look at your drinking habits, you might be amazed by its math. I have some very impressive numbers that may forever change the way you look at your beer can. An average man consumes approximately 200 gallons of liquids per year!
He takes in almost 34 gallons on beer, 53 gallons of all kinds of soda, and 24 gallons of milk. The rest can be divided up on all other kinds of drinks, expensive wine, tea, coffee, etc.

So, imagine that by merely moderating your drinking pattern, you can actually lose weight. You don't have to worry about starving yourself or changing your diet plan; just modify your drink routine, in order to satisfy only your need, instead of your pleasure.
Sometimes we drink to waste time, a habit we cultivate to keep our hands and mouth busy doing something, instead of nothing.

Now, don't think I'm asking you to stop drinking any liquids, except for water. In fact, I will keep almost all kinds of drinks, and only twist them around a little bit. For instance, you should substitute pulp-free juice with a pulpy one. Substitute red tea with a green tea, and so forth.

It may seem like a very slow plan to follow, but imagine the long-term effect. You will be dropping 35,456 calories in just one month. That’s almost the ten pounds that you need already!
If you are a full-grown adult, and are not on a special health care diet, simply get rid of your pulp-free orange juice in the morning and substitute it with a pulpy one, or even better, a whole orange.
A recent study conducted in Purdue University revealed that thick juices are better at fighting hunger than thin juices. So, be sure to alternate your morning juice with a thicker one to keep hunger further away from you.

NATURAL FAT BURNING
Tea is a natural fat burner, but only when you choose the right kind of tea. Green tea is definitely the right choice, for it contains a substance called catechin polyphenols, which raises the metabolic rate inside you body. The metabolism is the mechanism that maintains control of your weight. If your metabolic rate in high, you will burn fats at a faster rate, if it is low, you will gain extra fat pounds. You have two choices: Buy them ready to drink in a bottle and that will have two hundred calories or more, or buy tea bags and you prepare them yourself at home.
Green tea may save your body from at least 5,000 calories in four weeks time.

MEALS REPLACEMENTS:
The most effective meal replacement is to regularly drink meal replacements; they work best with any kind of diet program. In addition, they keep the extra pounds from returning. Generally, if you intend to lose weight, your meal must contain about 600 calories, 25% from proteins, 25% are fats, and 50% must be carbohydrates. By these replacements you will save 9,000 calories per four weeks. Here is a good liquid meal replacement to use; it will help you lose ten pounds. Strawberry Explosion

  • 1 c low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 c 1 percent milk
  • 2 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 1/2 c frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 ice cubes or 1/2 c crushed ice

Directions:   blend all the ingredients in a blender, on the high speed for about 5 minutes. Then enjoy drinking it right away.

                                                          25 grams (g) protein
                                                          106 g carbohydrates
                                                          11 g total fat

GET RID OF THE SHAKES:
A chocolate milk shake has at least 250 calories; you love to have it in the company of an old friend. It is also the most fattening of all drinks, and it will destroy your diet program. Substitute it with a skim chocolate milk shake with low-fat content. You will save 9,000 calories per four weeks, so it is worthy doing the substitution. You will be able to lose ten pounds in a short period of time.

DRIVE HOME SAFELY
Some people are used to having a soda while they are driving home, and wonder why they are gaining weight. The best way to rid yourself of this habit is to decrease the amount gradually and arrive home safely, without letting the extra calories control your body. You will save about 2,000 calories per four weeks, if you skim off the soda on your way home.

CHOOSE TH RIGHT BEER
Some kinds of beer you may drink in a matter of minutes. If you measured the number of calories you crammed into your body, it would total a minimum of one hundred fifty calories per one can. We are not saying that you have to abstain from beer in general, we are just asking that you choose wisely the type of beer that will support the body image you are putting forth of yourself.
